Nursery – 18.10.24
This week we have introduced Dojo points. Each child has a ‘Dojo Monster’ and can collect points throughout the week. As we have children attending different times, there will be three ‘Dojo Champions’ each week. The children can earn points by following the class rules, being kind, and tidying up.
Pumpkins
This week the children have used pumpkins, golf tees, and hammers to support their fine motor skills. We discovered many seeds inside and investigated what we could do with them. We decided to clean and dry them for planting next year.
Colour mixing
We had lots of fun mixing powder paints outside. When we mixed two primary colours, we created new colours, which are called secondary colours. It was rather messy, but we had lots of fun.
Instruments
This week we have explored different types of music. We have acted out as conductors and made our own instruments!
