Headteacher’s blog 12/3/21
It is soooo good to have all the children back in school. For the vast majority of children, it appears to have been a quick readjustment to ‘normal’ school life and routines. For some of our youngest children, they have known little else. We know that this isn’t quite our usual, most ambitious and exciting curriculum offer, but we are getting there. Over the next couple of weeks, we will complete some assessments of the children’s level of academic attainment to plan any further interventions, whilst also looking out for those children who may need a bit more pastoral support.
Walking around the school, and dipping into lessons, there is a warm feeling of delight to be in school together. The wet and blustery weather hasn’t dampened our spirits and the muddy boots and trousers are a clear sign that Farfield is back!
