Headteacher blog November 4th 2022

It has been a super week in school. I have done school tours and a number of lesson observations this week and I know that prospective parents have been impressed by what we have to offer. Every classroom that we go into feels calm and purposeful and there is a real warmth evident in relationships. New families are usually ‘blown away’ by what we have to offer. It is really important for the school to be full or nearly full, so if you know of any families with young children in the area, please do direct them our way and I will be delighted to show them around. Crucially, we don’t put on an ‘Open evening’ show; we are confident that any day is a great day to show off our school.

We had a full governing body meeting on Thursday evening and it was the last full meeting for Danusia: an exceptionally long-serving governor who retires from the role very soon after decades of service and wisdom. We are very grateful for Danusia’s commitment to the school and to the Children’s Centre and she moves on with our great thanks and very best wishes.
