Christmas is creeping into the school this week, with rehearsals for concerts and the first Christmas cards being delivered. Don’t forget that it is the PTA Christmas Fair on Wednesday after school.  Last Friday the PTA ran another very successful Quiz Night and over £600 was raised for the school. Congratulations and thanks to all those involved and who gave their time to help – especially Ricky for being compere, Mrs Allitt and Mrs Knowles for the cooking and all the bar ‘staff’.

This week has been another busy time for Y1 who have all been to the church for Christingle and the start of advent and to Thwaites Mill as part of their history work. Year 3 have been to the Bradford Media Museum and eight children from Year 6 performed in front of a huge audience at the Leeds Town Hall as part of the annual Leeds Schools’ Christmas Concert – what a night to remember for them and their families! Thanks to Mrs Lambert and Mrs Hawkhead for giving their time for the children attending lots of rehearsals.
