It has been a much better week: even feeling a bit of sunshine warmth whilst on lunchtime duty! It is so good to see children out playing again – although some lower KS2 children are like a magnet to the inevitable post-thaw mud!
Y3 have all been to the pantomime this week, enjoying the story of Pinnochio. It is interesting to see how children’s understanding and response to humour develops: from simple, physical comedy to more nuanced word-play and joke-telling. Different children respond in different ways: some just laughing at everything and not really knowing why.
