Headteacher blog 15th March 2019
It has been quite a wild and windy week. Traditionally, this has caused a headache for teachers as children bring their loud, outdoor voices into the classroom. In fact, things have remained very calm and peaceful inside the school with one teacher having to encourage their children to actually talk more as I visited classrooms this morning.
We are into the recruitment season for teachers moving in and out of schools for September. It looks like we will have quite a bit of movement at Farfield this year at all levels: teachers relocating, looking at other related careers, getting promotions. When they do choose to move on, our teachers are confident and successful in recruitment processes. We will be sad to lose valued colleagues this summer, but we should also see this as a positive time of refreshment. There are lots of teachers out there that would love to work at our respected and exciting school – if you know any excellent teachers, please let them know that we will be recruiting very soon!
