We are certainly in Christmas-mode with Early Years’ Nativity performances this week and KS1 and Junior shows in rehearsal. Our PTA have had a very busy week with a Christmas Movie night and a fantastic Christmas Fair. Santa visited classes in Y1-6 this week and will return to Nursery and Reception next week (if they’re good). Many thanks to all the PTA volunteers and to families and local businesses that donated generous raffle prizes.
On Thursday evening, over 60 Y5 and Y6 children went to the Leeds Playhouse to see an excellent new version of A Christmas Carol. A member of the public was sat in the middle of some of our children and as he was leaving he said to a member of our staff: “The children were all really well behaved, top class!” It’s always good to get feedback like this: manners and theatre etiquette are important.
