This is such a busy time of year. Last weekend we had our annual Camp-Over which was a big success again. Our PTA really are magnificent: putting so much time and effort into putting on fabulous events that also raise funds for the school.
On Tuesday we got our statutory Y6 SATs results. The children have done very well again, with 1 in 5 children reaching the higher greater-depth standards in all of Reading, Writing and Maths. By that measure, we are probably in the top 5 or 10% of schools nationally.
On Wednesday, we had our traditional sports days with large crowds of parents and carers cheering on the children in a wide range of events. The children put a lot of effort into the races and events and almost everyone seemed to have a good time. Well done to Mr Hemming for the organisation and delivery of the day.

This morning, we have had a huge whole school event in the junior halls: The Science Superstars final from Reception to Year 6. In front of an esteemed panel of judges – Natasha Loveridge, Shelley Daniels and Ruth Fain – the class winners presented their science investigations to an audience of 400 children. Well done to everyone involved!
