Head teacher blog 6th March 2015
The school looked fantastic yesterday as staff and children dressed up for World Book Day – many thanks to all the parents that were able to help with this. One of the best parts of WBD is the fact that the children get taught by a range of teachers for the day and in the juniors all the children are put into one-off mixed groups. Many children really enjoyed working with younger or older peers and it was interesting for staff to meet children that they don’t usually teach. This week most infant classes have also been to visit Farsley Library – we are lucky to still have this fabulous resource and it is important that families use it.
