Head teacher blog 10th October 2014

This week I have again seen so much to be proud of in the school: fantastic work during book scrutiny; classes heading out on educational visits; sporting teams competing after school and busy clubs giving additional opportunities to explore and develop new skills.  Lots of parents came back to school on Thursday evening for the Reception Reading Workshop and I hope that they were inspired and well-informed as our partners in their children’s learning. Many members of staff have received further training on developing school blogs and six additional members of staff passed the first stage of their qualification as minibus drivers. We also held the first PTA meeting of the term and the team have planned a great range of exciting events to support.
