Happy Half Term

Happy Half Term

Well done to everyone in Year 4 for a fantastic first half term!

Music
Both classes have enjoyed learning The Hoedown in music. Here is the final performance from 4SL.

Dance
4NL have worked brilliantly in their dance unit in P.E this half term. We will be sharing a video of their dances soon.

French
In French this half term we have been learning how to talk about ourselves, including saying our name, age, where we live and our nationality. Following this week’s Picture News assesmbly, 4SL were very interested in ID cards, so we decided to make our own ID cards giving our information in French.

School Council
Each class will be voting for their new School Council rep in the week after half term. If children would like to put themselves forward to be a School Council rep, they need to prepare a short presentation to explain to the rest of their class why they would make a good School Council rep. This could be done on Google Slides, Google Docs, as a poster or just a verbal speech!

Homework
There will be no homework over half term. We hope you all enjoy a well-earned rest!

Wishing everyone a wonderful week and we look forward to seeing you back at school after the holiday.

Mrs Sykes, Miss Levett and Mr Nehaul
