Happy Easter! Year 6 2.4.26

We have reached the end of a long and lovely term and as SATS dates draw closer, we would like to say a BIG WELL DONE to the children for their hard work this half term. We have sent home an ‘Easter Homework’ pack which we would like everyone to try to complete; little and often is much better than long periods of time and so we suggest 20-30 minutes a day if you can. Homework packs to be brought back on the first Friday back: Friday 24th April. This gives the children 3 weeks for the tasks set.

English

We have put the finishing touches to some incredible pieces of work on the circulation system. Children were asked to write an explanation of how the circulation system worked and aim their writing at younger children. We have been blown away with their amazing tone and ways in which they’ve explained a really tricky science concept. All the children have taken their time to produce a final draft in their most beautiful handwriting aided by some diagrams and pictures to enhance their writing.
