End of Year Assembly

End of Year Assembly

I am sorry it was so long, but we had an epic Leavers’ Assembly this year. The whole school crammed into the main hall and Y6 parents filled the Studio. We celebrated the year we have had across the school, said many goodbyes to staff that are moving on, sang some songs and then focussed on Year 6. They have been a very good group of children and we gave out academic, sporting and other awards. Every child got a yearbook to cherish (many thanks Mrs Hawkhead!).

Staff that have left the school today include:

  • Mrs Dutton, who has been a lunchtime assistant for 31 years!
  • Miss Sedman
  • Mrs Daniels
  • Mrs Waddington
  • Mr Garlick
  • Mrs Gilhooley
  • Mr Tiffany

The children and staff will be missed and have all contributed positively in their own ways to Farfield’s success. We wish them the very best of luck for the future.

Have a great summer!
