We hope that everyone had a fantastic time at this year’s Farfield PTA Camp-Over. We had well over 700 people across our huge site and over 70 families staying overnight. Attractions included alpacas, a magician, a party disco, water slides, a water fight, Aegis martial arts, fairground rides, football, cricket, tennis, some (fearsome female) tug of war, face paints, glitter and henna tattoos, stalls, story time with Truman Books, bonfires, chicken feeding, a fire engine (not due to the fires!) and simply time to meet up, to chat and to play. It was lovely to see so many former Farfield students at the event, many of whom no longer have siblings in the school.
Many, many thanks to all the volunteers from the PTA (and others) that generously gave their time and efforts to make the event a brilliant success again. Particular thanks to the PTA committee and other regular contributors to meetings and events that have been preparing for this for many months and put in lots and lots of labour over the weekend and the preceding few days.
There are so many great photos from Saturday, many of which are below. There are many more fabulous photos in this directory.
Camp-Over is now a great Farfield tradition. If we do another, we think that may be our tenth. What could we do to celebrate?
