Harvest Festival 2026

We celebrated our annual Harvest Festival this morning with packed halls of children and families. We had a magnificent harvest display from the school farm (and some lovely family donations of pumpkins, squashes and some exotic tomatoes). It would be barely possible to have more variety. We also had generous donations of food for our annual collection for St George’s Crypt’s work with the homeless in Leeds.

During the Harvest Festival we had children doing readings, apple pressing, potato harvesting and our Farfield tradition of talking vegetables telling jokes. At the end, families came forward – in a very orderly queue – and took home produce from the display. We raised almost £150 from generous donations for the produce.

Well done and thank you to all involved. Particular congratulations and thanks go to Mrs Kingsley for her great work on Farfield Farm.
