Dear Zoo
This half term, we will be focusing on the book ‘Dear Zoo.’ We will also be reading lots of other books. By concentrating on ‘Dear Zoo,’ we expect the children to participate in repetitive chanting and actions. We will discuss the different animals in the book and make their sounds, such as stomping like elephants and roaring like lions.
Our first full week
During our first full week, we focused on settling the children in and getting to know them better. We have started creating butterflies for our classroom lockers, spent time in the conservation area, read books, completed some Write Dance videos, participated in Danny Go activities, and played various games.
