Year 6 10th July 2026

What a beautiful week we have had! The sun has shone and we have been busy finishing off projects and enjoying time outside.

DT

Children put their final touches to their reusable bags this week and are so proud of them. They have all identified a potential user for their bag and created a design motif for them. Children have sewed the seams and handles for their bags and we are sure you will agree they look super!

Here are some pictures of finished bags.

Sports Day

Thank you to everyone who attended sports day this week. The children gave their all to their events and we are so proud of each one of them.

Final week arrangements

Next week is our very last week! It’s come around so quickly. We have sent a letter detailing the arrangements for the end of year party, assembly and water fight. Please see below. Can you please send in a large bag for life style bag next week for children to take home their work?

If you haven’t bought your tickets for the performance, today (Friday 10th) is your last chance! If you require spare tickets for grandparents, siblings or friends, please await the email letting you know there are some tickets available and we will allocate these on a first come, first served basis.

If you haven’t sent your child’s baby photo to Mrs duPreez, please do this by Monday 13th July at 12pm.

Thank you – have a lovely weekend in the sunshine.

The Year 6 team.
