Well done to all of Year 6 for reaching the end of the shortest but busiest half-term of the year. We are very proud of all your hard work and you have earned a well-deserved rest.

End of year show

As you can imagine, allocating roles for 57 children in the show is no easy task. We have done our very best to accommodate all of the children’s requests, though we do understand there may be some disappointment. Scripts have been sent home today, and we hope that children can return after the holiday having learned their lines. This will make a big difference to the smooth running of the show. Once we’re back in school, we’ll begin working on the actions, dancing, and singing together.

DT

We have started one of our DT projects this week and are looking for shoe boxes to be brought in after the half term – if you have any please send them our way. Also, we have another DT project coming up next half term and we are looking for old jeans or t-shirts that are no longer needed. If you have any of these, we would be very grateful!

Trip to Armley Mill

Children will be bringing a letter home today in regards to our Armley Mill trip next half-term. Please return consents after the break and the payment link will be on ParentPay.

Letter

We hope you have a lovely half-term and will see you in a week!
