Half way through the Spring term

The weeks have rushed past since the start of January and we have had a hectic final week before the half term.

English

The acting bug struck 5B again this week when we recorded our versions of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The scripts were written and edited by the groups, with children taking on multiple roles during their performances.

Maths

We have come to the end of our units on fractions and after half term will be starting to look at decimals and percentages.

The first lesson will be decimals up to 2 decimal places and the video below will help your child.

Music

5K managed to fit in time to record their version of Freedom is Coming.

Year 1 Buddies Art Exhibition

On Friday, both classes went to visit their reading buddies to look at the art work they had produced. Photos of the visit can be seen here.

Have a lovely and restful break and we will see you all again on the 23rd February.
