The Little Red Hen

We have enjoyed sharing and retelling the story of The Little Red Hen this week. At the start of the week we told the story in groups with children taking the parts of the different characters. We then looked at how we could use adjectives and conjunctions in our retellings before writing our own. What other traditional tales do the children know? Do you have any you can tell or share at home over the weekend?
