Year 6 16.5.25

CONGRATULATIONS to our AMAZING Year 6 students on a job well done this week!

The SATS exams came and went in a flash, and we are so proud of your children for their resilience and positivity. We heard comments such as ‘I thought these exams would be hard, but they weren’t at ALL’ which just goes to show how relaxed and confident they all felt. The results won’t be available until July but whatever the scores, we couldn’t have asked the children to do any more, and they’ve earned a well-deserved rest this weekend.

To celebrate the end of the week we said goodbye to the old SATS papers we have been practising with throughout the year…

6J had a classroom ‘snowball fight’ with their papers and 6D went outside to let them fly (before putting them all responsibly in the bin)

Animals

In our downtime this week, we drew some endangered animal portraits in black and white – here are some lovely examples from across the year group.
