Fast Phonics

Well done to everyone who has been playing Fast Phonics. We have given out lots of certificates today.

Maths

We have been looking at the composition of numbers. The children have been learning that 3 and 4 can be made by combining sets in different ways. We have had lots of practical fun exploring how we can make 3 and 4, including making patterns, using the tweezers to make groups and creating our own subitising cards.

Special Places

In RE this week, we have talked about what places are special to us. Some children said:

“My cousin’s house.”

“My home.”

“The park.”

We then went to visit a special place for some children ‘the park’. We looked at pictures of all the different places that we might visit to worship. Some children recognised where they visit and shared why it is special to them and their family.

Everything Else…

Have a lovely weekend.
