Attainment at the end of Year 6 is typically national average or better, with particularly high levels of attainment at ‘Greater Depth’. In 2024, the percentage of Farfield Year 6 children reaching ‘greater depth’ in each of reading, writing and maths was in the top 5% of all schools nationally. In 2025, we got high combined EXS and outstanding scores in reading, grammar and punctuation and in maths. An astonishing 58% of our children got Greater Depth in reading in 2025, and 40% got Greater Depth in Maths. (The national comparators were 33% and 26% respectively.) In 2026, we got another good set of results, in the top quartile for combined ‘Greater Depth’ standards.
Assessments for our younger children are around the national average – suggesting accelerated progress across the school. We are very inclusive and have a lot of children with SEND.
