Farsley Farfield Primary School has a huge amount to offer your child: many unique qualities that will combine to offer a rich and engaging education.
The school has strong standards of attainment, very extensive grounds, great sports provision, brilliant IT resources and an exciting curriculum.
We are a popular, diverse and inclusive school. Our families are very supportive and strongly value our work. Our PTA is outstanding! In June 2017, we were awarded the accolade of national Healthy School of the Year! In September 2023, Ofsted concluded – yet again – that we are a good school with a vibrant, ambitious curriculum and elements of exceptional practice.
Our academic standards are good and often very good: in the summer of 2024, over one-fifth of our children reached ‘greater depth’ standards in each of reading, writing and maths – placing us in the top 5% of English schools in that measure. Our 2025 results are well above national averages, with nearly 60% of children reaching ‘greater depth’ standards in reading and 40% in maths. Despite having lots of children with SEND, our combined results were nearly 10% higher than the national average.
