Welcome back! We have had a fabulous start to the new school year and have been very impressed with the work and attitude of the children. We have hit the ground running and have already started our Maths work on place value, began reading Kensuke’s Kingdom and completed our first lesson on natural disasters!

Please remember that PE is on a Tuesday and children need to come to school in their PE kits.

Doors on a morning will shut at 8:45am. If you arrive after this time please enter through the main office.

Kensuke Art

The children completed some water colour paintings to represent a front cover for Kensuke’s Kingdom. There are a variety of designs and ideas. Well done everyone!

We will post some pictures of these next week.

WW1 visit

In November we will be having a visitor into school to deliver a workshop to the children linked to our history topic of WW1. A letter will be coming home next week explaining the details and cost of this and you will be able to make payment via ParentPay.

Homework

For this week homework is:

  • 5 x 20 min reading sessions of a favourite book
  • TT Rockstars (30 min) not all in one session please

We hope that you have a lovely weekend!
