Headteacher blog 24th April 2015
It really has been good to be back at school this week after a lovely Easter break. The weather has, of course, been superb and this is the best time of year to be part of Farfield. The older children can all now spread far and wide at playtimes and the site looks beautiful as blossom blooms and new leaves unfurl in the sunshine. The children have spent a lot of time outside this week: children in Reception and Year 1 visiting the fabulous Rodley Nature Reserve and many children spending time on Farfield Farm. Juniors have been harvesting rhubarb on the farm and using it to make rhubarb crumble.
In the classrooms, we are approaching a very important time of the year: SATs! The staff and children have all been working very hard and I expect good progress to be evident in the tests again this year.
