Head teacher blog January 8th 2016

It is great to be back at school – honestly!  I refuse to get caught up in this ‘January blues’ malaise and working with such great children every day really makes coming to work a pleasure. I am still touring the school regularly with prospective parents and I am always pleased with what we are able to show off and offer. Parents shown books this week were making comments about how good the handwriting and presentation was – pleasing to hear, as this has been a priority. They were also particularly impressed by the standards of numeracy amongst our youngest children.  When it came to the outdoor space and opportunities that we can offer, we retreated to my office to show photographs of the grounds and activities in the summer – when will it stop raining?
